Donna Heydar is a Prevention Coordinator for the Westside Impact Project in Los Angeles County. She graduated from Boston University with a bachelor’s in Health Science. She earned a Master of Public Health degree in Environmental Health Sciences from the University of California, Los Angeles. Born and raised in Los Angeles, Donna has a passion for public health, specifically in racial equity and justice. Prior to joining IPS, Donna interned with other nonprofit organizations such as the LA Neighborhood Land Trust, Save the Harbor/Save the Bay and the Environmental Voter Project, with an emphasis on public and environmental policy. In her free time, Donna likes to knit, tend to her plants and try new restaurants in Los Angeles.
