Francisco Murillo, CPA

Senior Controller

“I enjoy the challenge that not-for-profit accounting provides, as well as my role in contributing to the well-being of our communities.  Doing the right thing, the right way, at the right time.”

Francisco manages accounting and fiscal compliance and reporting at IPS. He began his career in public accounting as both an auditor and tax preparer for local businesses in the for-profit and nonprofit sectors, subsequently transitioning to the private sector in various in-charge accounting roles. Francisco was accounting manager and led a seven-person team at a local nonprofit that administers early childhood education and nutrition programs under contract with the State of California. When not crunching numbers, Francisco enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters, undertaking home improvement projects, cooking and traveling.
