Maurina Cintron is the Director of Tobacco Programs for the Smoke-Free Multi-Unit Housing and Outdoor Areas initiatives in L.A. County. She works on policy-focused initiatives intended to improve the public health and safety of second-hand and thirdhand smoke harms in Los Angeles County. She is a member of the Los Angeles Drug and Alcohol Policy Alliance (LA DAPA), a 30 organizational member of L.A. City and Countywide groups of public health professionals and community members working to implement policies that reduce substance-related harms. She is a founding member of the LGBTQ+ Caucus, which seeks to amplify LGBTQ+ voices and organize around LGBTQ+ alcohol-related harms and prevention. Maurina is committed to building partnerships and collaborations with organizations and other allies to advocate for equitable policies intended to reduce harm in all communities.
