Maurina Cintron is the Project Manager for the Smoke-Free Multi-Unit Housing Program in L.A. County. She works on policy-focused initiatives intended to improve the public health of second-hand smoke harms in Los Angeles County. She is an active member of the Los Angeles Drug and Alcohol Policy Alliance (LA DAPA), a 30 organizational member L.A. City and Countywide group of public health professionals and community members working to implement policies that reduce substance-related harms. She is a founding member of the LGBTQ+ Caucus, which seeks to amplify LGBTQ+ voices and organize around LGBTQ+ alcohol-related harms and prevention. Maurina is committed to building partnerships and collaborations with organizations and other allies to advocate for equitable policies intended to reduce harm in all communities.
