Sebastian Montiel (He/They) is the project support specialist for the Elevate Youth program. Having lived a cross-border childhood between San Diego and Tijuana, he understood the needed reform for minority communities at a young age. Sebastian is passionate about giving back to his community through humanistic approaches to healing and pride. He began his advocacy work in high school by conducting social justice summits and advocating for LGBTQIA+ Visibility & Gender identity. He continues to be a part of the narrative of a diverse and connected community.

Sebastian is currently studying Public Health at San Diego State University to receive his Bachelor’s Degree in pursuit of higher education.
