Ruby Ramos
Community Organizer
“Large-scale transformation begins with taking small-step initiatives–research, understanding, and incremental action that helps create a lasting impact.”
Ruby Ramos is the Community Organizer for IPS’ East Valley Project. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Summa Cum Laude at Cal State University, San Bernardino. With a range of experience in media, outreach, and community engagement, Ruby is passionate about crafting meaningful narratives that drive positive social change. Prior to joining the IPS team, Ruby served as a Wellness Coach for a non-profit organization that focused its efforts on providing social and emotional education to underserved youth. Through her previous work, she continued to seek out opportunities that are committed to equity, informed decision-making, and elevating diverse voices within local communities. Ruby is thankful for the opportunity to support substance use prevention efforts and fostering valuable connections to promote public health. Outside of her professional role, she enjoys writing poetry, attending art walks, listening to eclectic music, and exploring nature.
