The East Valley Project

The San Bernardino East Valley Project works to prevent substance use and strengthen community well-being across the East Valley region, including Redlands, Highland, Yucaipa, Mentone, Loma Linda, and Oak Glen. Funded by the San Bernardino County Department of Behavioral Health, the project focuses on education, youth leadership, and systems change to reduce alcohol and other drug harms.

The Central Valley Project

PS’ Central Valley project strengthens youth and family wellbeing across Bloomington, Colton, Grand Terrace, Muscoy, Rialto, and San Bernardino by reducing underage drinking and other drug-related harms through community-driven prevention strategies. Working alongside the long-standing Community Coalitions for CHANGE, IPS engages residents, parents, schools, and local leaders to improve the conditions that shape health for young people.

Smokefree Outdoor Areas

IPS led a focused initiative to expand smokefree outdoor area (OA) protections in the neighboring cities of Montebello and Whittier, working to reduce exposure to secondhand smoke and vaping aerosols in places where residents gather, work, and spend time outdoors.
