Trusted Messenger Network
IPS was a member of the State of California’s Trusted Messenger Network, supporting large-scale outreach and engagement initiatives in Los Angeles and San Diego Counties to ensure immigrant and other vulnerable communities received information on key state health priorities, including extreme heat preparedness, COVID-19 vaccination and boosters, and Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN) programs.
La Vocera
La Vocera is IPS’ Spanish-language WhatsApp initiative designed to deliver clear and timely public health information directly to Hispanic and Latine immigrant families in San Diego County’s border region, many of whom experience significant gaps in care due to language barriers and low trust in institutions.
State Opioid Response
IPS’s SOR IV project strengthens community understanding of opioid, stimulant, and polysubstance use while reducing stigma and improving access to treatment among immigrant families in San Diego County’s South Bay and Border Region.
Community Engagement and Enrollment
IPS is dedicated to bridging the gap for immigrant families, low-income households, and communities facing social and health inequities in Los Angeles County’s Gateway Cities, including Montebello, Alhambra, Pico Rivera, and Whittier.
