Josiah is the Founder & CEO of Music Changing Lives, a community-based nonprofit advancing youth development, creative expression, and civic engagement through music, arts education, and academic enrichment.

For over two decades, Music Changing Lives has partnered with schools, cities, and community organizations across Southern California to deliver culturally responsive programming that supports children, youth, and families, particularly in communities that have been historically underinvested.

Josiah’s work integrates arts education with academic support, food access, and community-based wellness, reaching youth ages 5 through adulthood and equipping them with the skills, confidence, and creative agency to thrive as engaged community members. Today, he is focused on scaling sustainable, place-based models that blend public funding, philanthropy, and cross-sector partnerships to create long-term impact.
