Angelica Raya

Angelica Raya is the Program Manager for the San Diego County Binge and Underage Drinking Initiative. She is a Navy veteran with extensive program management experience, particularly in substance use advocacy and support, emergency medical services, data analysis, and naval aviation safety. Throughout her professional career, she has also served in additional roles as a Drug and Alcohol Program Advisor, a Sexual Assault Victim Advocate, and an Emergency Medical Technician.
Angelica holds a BS in Public Health and an AS in Human Biology from National University. She combines her diverse professional experience, education, and passion for substance abuse prevention to lead county-wide alcohol prevention programs, empowering San Diego’s youth to achieve their full potential and live healthy, fulfilling lives.
Outside of her professional life, Angelica enjoys spending time with her husband and two fur babies. She can be found attending country concerts, watching baseball games (rooting for the Chicago Cubs), or furthering her education in clinical psychology.
