“My goal as a prevention specialist is to inspire youth and adults to be their own advocate, use their voice for change, and to dream big!”

Carolina Vicente (she/her/ella) is the Prevention Specialist for IPS’ Central Valley project in San Bernardino County. Born and raised in Los Angeles, she moved to San Bernardino in 2022, where she has been working to empower community members in the Central Valley region of San Bernardino to advocate for equity and policy change to address root cause issues regarding substance use disorder. She has a bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Santa Cruz, in Sociology and Latin American Latino Studies. Carolina enjoys listening to music, watching YouTube podcasts, and traveling to new destinations in her free time!
