Dane Bolding
Project Coordinator
“My work is driven by the belief that all youth deserve the opportunity to be themselves, experience different cultures, explore the natural world, and to be leaders in their communities.”
Dane Bolding is the Youth Community Access Project Coordinator for the East County Outdoor Opportunities Program that focuses on giving low-income and underserved youth access to outdoor and cultural resources. He has over ten years of experience working with youth in the fields of education and recreation, and is passionate about expanding diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility into the outdoors. Whether it’s catching your first wave or discovering the biodiversity at your local park, Dane believes in the transformative power of the outdoors to help people connect with themselves and develop a greater appreciation of the world around them. In his free time, he enjoys being outside, traveling, and spending time with his partner and two cats.
