Lahiru Kodituwakku

Prevention Specialist

Lahiru Kodituwakku (they/them) is the Prevention Specialist for the West Hollywood Project in Los Angeles County, which seeks to reduce substance use-related harms within the LGBTQ+ population. Lahiru received their BA in Psychology with a minor in Communications from CSU Dominguez Hills and their MPH in Health Promotion and Behavioral Science from San Diego State University. Prior to working at IPS, Lahiru worked in student affairs, community-based participatory research, and health education. They are passionate about achieving health equity in vulnerable communities, community-based advocacy, empowerment, and activism, and increasing access to care and resources that help keep communities healthy.

Outside of their work at IPS, Lahiru enjoys reading, photography, and cooking.
