Teo Anderson

Community Outreach Specialist

“We don’t inherit the earth from our ancestors, we borrow it from our children.”

Teo Anderson is the Community Outreach Specialist working for the LA team as part of the Trusted Messenger Program. His passion for the environment led him to Loyola Marymount University where he earned his Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies and a minor in Film Studies. Prior to joining IPS, Teo worked with the LMU Center for Urban Resilience (LMU CUReS) as a communications assistant, helping to further a dialogue between community members and their local representatives. Additionally, he helped organize community events through the Friends of Ballona Wetlands where he and a small, dedicated team of volunteers worked to revitalize and map parts of the Ballona Discovery Park ecosystem. In his free time, he enjoys reading, hiking, and spending time with friends.
