Emma Dobson serves as the Youth and Community Organizer for the East County and South Bay projects. Her passion lies in addressing the disparities and barriers faced by marginalized communities, and she dedicates herself to creating inclusive and empowering environments where health outcomes are improved for all. She graduated with a BS in Global Health and a minor in Health Care – Social Issues from the University of California, San Diego. While at UC San Diego, Emma represented the school as a Gender and Health Justice Student Ambassador and founded a student organization that focused on grassroots advocacy and community education on public health topics. For her impactful work in the campus community, Emma was awarded as UC San Diego’s 2023 Individual Changemaker of the Year. When she’s not working, Emma enjoys playing tennis, practicing yoga, and reading at the beach.
