Sharay Gonzalez (she/her/Ella) is the Community Organizer for the IPS Central Valley project in San Bernardino County. She was born and raised in Compton, California, and she moved to San Bernardino in 2021 to pursue her higher education in public health at California State University, San Bernardino, with a psychology minor, which she will finish in 2025. Sharay has been a community advocate and her passion for helping communities has grown over the past few years while pursuing her higher education. She recognizes the importance of cultural competency and meeting each community’s needs while keeping their culture and ethics in mind. She is happy to be able to help individuals through education, resources, and events.
