Human Trafficking
The Federal Department of Justice Byrne / Safe Border Community Project (SBCP) in San Diego County worked closely with law enforcement and community stakeholders to reduce crime and violence along the U.S. / Mexico border.
Pedestrian & Bicycle Safety
The Pedestrian and Bicycle Safety project was a partnership between San Diego City College and IPS to promote pedestrian and bicyclist safety in the East Village region of San Diego.
Community Trials
Community Trials was a research project in California and South Carolina in the early 1990s to demonstrate how population-level change could reduce alcohol-related harms. As part of the project, data were collected from six cities — three treatment and three control — with a focus on cultural and geographical diversity.
Louisiana Seat Belt Project
The 1995 Louisiana Seal Belt Project, funded by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, focused on reducing alcohol-related traffic fatalities through the increased use of seat belts.
